JANINA GAVANKAR (actor)
Janina wants you to guess her ethnicity. You may have seen her on The L Word, as the East LA lothario Papi, or Babershop 1 and 2, Strong Medicine, Girlfriends, or other random things on her IMDb profile. And you definitely have NOT seen her in Stargate: Atlantis, My Boys, Factory, and the film Shattered, because they're not out yet, so don't lie after the show and say you "liked her work." You can talk to "her" on the interactive MSN search engine MsDewey.com, and you can download her at www.janinagavankar.com.
CHARLES KIM (producer, actor, writer)
Charles is a native Angeleno, born and raised in K-town, who found himself in Seattle in the 90’s and joined OPM as a form of cheap therapy from years of being Korean. In the process, Charles has performed stage work that has been praised by Backstage West, L.A. Weekly, L.A. Times, and The Georgia Strait (Vancouver). Recent screen credits include: ABC's Raising the Bar; Expired, opposite Samantha Morton (2007 Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals); TBS' The Bill Engvall Show; Nickleodeon's iCarly; ABC's Help Me Help You; CBS’ The Unit, with fellow castmate, writer and producer Ewan Chung; and a Comedy Central promo with William Shatner and fellow castmate Dave Wilder. His day job is defending undocumented people in immigration court. He thanks God, family, friends, and everyday living for inspiration. Big ups to Lawrin and Joe! Thanks to all the loyal OPM fans. Much love to Mom and B.H.A.K. to Boopi...
DAVID J. LEE (director)
JOHN LOPEZ (writer)
Raised by wolves in the forests north of Los Angeles, John Lopez didn't learn the human art of language until 17. Because of his last name, he gained entry to Harvard University where he went vegan and experimented with lesbianism. Seeking to reconnect with his roots as a scavenger and pack animal, John decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He found work in film development and production, but lacking the innate blood-thirst to become an agent or studio executive, John turned to writing because "it is easy."
CAROLINE PHO (actor)
Born in Virginia, Caroline is another kind of East-meets-West. She appeared in Carrie Underwood's music video Ever After for Disney's Enchanted as a spicy hot dog vendor who falls for a sweet salesboy. Other credits include a delicious YAKULT commercial, stale stock footage, and cheesy karaoke videos. Hey, a girl's got to eat! Later this year, she will produce and star in the short film Meringue.
CHASE SPRAGUE (actor, writer)
This is the Lord speaking. Chase is soooo funny, he made me pee once. Trained at the Groundlings, Second City and Improv Olympic West, he has spread his stand-up, sketch and Improv seed all over Hollywood. Moved here ten years ago and is still going strong. See his latest project on frozenmonkeys.com. The new series is called Honeymooned and is on Youtube.com. Amen.
DAVE WILDER (actor)
Dave was spawned in Oklahoma, and after putting in a year as a Sooner, decided that it wasn't the center of artistic nirvana that he'd imagined. So he attended a fancy shmancy conservatory in Milwaukee, WI, which he also didn't like, dropped out and finished up his degree while learning from the founder of ComedySportz, Dick Chudnow. Then he briefly worked with a professional improv group in Dallas/Tulsa called the Ad-libs for a year until he decided he was done with Middle America. So he packed up his bags and moved to Los Angeles, where he's been struggling ever since. He'd like to thank William Shatner for having a roast so that he could book a commercial with Charles to recruit him into OPM. Other commercial credits include Pizza Hut, Ford Escape and Coors Light.
